PVC high speed mixer material weight calculation

Problems often encountered with high-speed PVC mixer machine, What is the most appropriate weight of mixed ingredients? I will give you an estimation formula:

High-speed mixer model x Material bulk density x 0.7 ≈ Mixable material weight

For example:

  • The model 500 high-speed mixer machine has a designed holding volume of 500L.
  • The material accumulation volume is generally 0.5 or 0.6 kg/L. (The accumulation volume of resinous light calcium is slightly lower, generally estimated to be 0.5 kg/L. Heavy calcium The accumulation volume is generally 0.6 kg/L).
  • Because the high-speed mixer is full of materials and cannot mix well, so when we put the materials in, we usually put 70%, that’s why coefficient is 0.7

The visit commenced with a warm welcome from the POLESTAR MACHINERY team, where the technical specialists were introduced to the state-of-the-art facilities and advanced machinery dedicated to PERT (Polyethylene of Raised Temperature Resistance), HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), and PPR (Polypropylene Random Copolymer) pipe production. The specialists were provided with a comprehensive overview of the production lines, highlighting the innovative features and capabilities designed to meet the evolving demands of the industry.

If a 500L mixer is used under a light calcium formula, the weight of the materials that can be mixed is approximately: 500X0.5X0.7≈175 kg

If a 500L mixer is used under a heavy calcium formula, the weight of the materials that can be mixed is approximately: 500X0.6X0.7≈210 kg

This method is an estimate and is suitable for various types of high-speed mixers.
